From a college student teaching a few children as a hobby, to one of Rohini's most trusted concept-based institutes — this is our story.
While pursuing the first year of college, Sandeep Bhasin started teaching a few students — as a hobby, and a way to earn some pocket money. What began as a part-time activity soon became something far more meaningful.
The turning point wasn't the income — it was watching students transform. Students who once struggled to pass gradually became confident learners. Seeing a child understand a difficult concept, overcome fear, and achieve results that once seemed impossible became the greatest motivation.
Without realising it, a hobby had become a passion.
Sandeep's wife, Bhawna Bhasin, a graduate of Punjab University, joined him. Together they founded Conceptual Learning with one simple belief: when concepts become clear, success naturally follows.
Over the years, thousands of students have been part of this journey, and every success story has strengthened our commitment to better education.
Long before project-based learning became common, we introduced classroom projects to make learning practical and engaging. The same year, we began developing our own concept-based science animations — helping students visualise topics that are impossible to imagine from a textbook alone.
We upgraded our classrooms with smart boards, making visual and interactive teaching an everyday experience rather than an occasional activity.
Our students learn through premium coloured notes, competency-based worksheets, chapter summaries, regular assessments — and technology that supports, not replaces, the teacher.
"When concepts become clear, success naturally follows."
— the belief Conceptual Learning was founded on, 2005Education should never be limited to memorising answers. Our classrooms are built around understanding, curiosity and confidence — because when students understand why, they no longer need to memorise what.
Every chapter is taught until the "why" clicks — not just the "what".
Questions are celebrated. The best classes are the ones students interrupt.
Concept clarity removes fear — of the subject, the test and the board exam.
Sandeep continues to teach Mathematics and Science while constantly working on modernising classroom education. His focus is to combine strong conceptual teaching with thoughtfully designed technology so that every student learns more effectively.
He began teaching in 1998 as a first-year college student, and what started as a way to earn pocket money became the work of a lifetime.
Bhawna leads the Junior Wing and oversees the academic administration of the institute. She plays a vital role in maintaining the learning environment, supporting students, coordinating with parents, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
A graduate of Punjab University, she joined the journey in 2005 — the year Conceptual Learning was founded.
Students will receive personalised practice, analyse weak concepts, upload handwritten answer sheets for AI-powered evaluation, understand where marks are lost, and get customised guidance to improve — all while learning from experienced teachers in the classroom.
Because the future of education is not Teacher vs AI.
It is Teacher + AI, working together.
To make learning deeply conceptual, visually engaging, technologically empowered, and accessible to every student who wants to learn with confidence.
To build one of India's most trusted concept-based learning institutes — combining exceptional teaching, innovative learning resources and responsible use of technology, preparing students not only for examinations but for lifelong success.
The best way to understand Conceptual Learning is to sit in one demo class.
